Usually they are the sites in the search engine directories (Google directories..Etc).
2. Directory links
Don’t go over 10 - 15% of total link ratio on your sites. Start with a trusted directories. (Yahoo dir, business.com, MSN SBD, BOTW)
3. Reciprocal links
Links to another website placed on your site in exchange for links back to your site from theirs. This is a proven way to build link popularity which is instrumental in getting high search engine rankings. I suggest that 10% of most sites links should be reciprocal.

5. One way links
This time, you need some friends to help you get this links. Don’t link ALL your sites together and stay one topic. Go to forums and e-mail folks and make friends, offer for a link exchange.
